Recap of Semicon Taiwan 2024: A Successful Showcase of Dutch Innovation and Global Collaboration
Semicon Taiwan 2024 has officially wrapped up, and it was an incredible week for the Dutch semiconductor industry! This year was particularly special as it marked 10 years of Dutch participation in the event. High Tech NL, in collaboration with the Netherlands Office Taipei (NLOT), proudly represented the Netherlands at the Holland High Tech Pavilion, where Dutch companies showcased their cutting-edge technologies, drive innovation forward and strengthened global partnerships.
Kicking Off with Community Spirit
The event began with a informal gathering at the Ningxia Night Market in Taipei, where Team Semicon NL enjoyed a “Night Market Dinner.” This gathering set the stage for a week filled with innovation and collaboration. It was the perfect way to build connections and prepare for the exciting days ahead.
A Platform for Dutch Excellence
The Holland High Tech Pavilion stood out as a central hub for showcasing Dutch expertise in the semiconductor industry. The pavilion hosted nine Dutch exhibitors. Each company brought their unique contributions to the semiconductor supply chain, demonstrating the Netherlands’ commitment to pushing technological boundaries. The pavilion not only highlighted the strength of Dutch innovation but also created valuable networking opportunities for participants.
Several exhibitors expressed their appreciation for the pavilion’s visibility and accessibility, noting that it helped them connect with new leads early in the event. The Holland High Tech Pavilion once again proved to be a central meeting point for industry professionals to discuss innovation and form new partnerships.
Dutch Tech Day: A New Highlight
One of the highlights of Semicon Taiwan 2024 was the first-ever Dutch Tech Day, a key part of NL Semiconductors Week 2024. This event was a resounding success and showcased the growing influence of the Dutch semiconductor industry on the global stage. The event celebrated the collective achievements of the Dutch semiconductor industry and paved the way for future growth.
