The first China-Netherlands Semiconductor Industry Cooperation Forum was held in Xiamen Haishu to promote the integration of industrial innovation, explore potential investment targets, and increase global market opportunities.
On March 12th the China Semiconductor Industry Association and the Business Cluster Semiconductors Netherlands, The China Semiconductor Investment Union, Xiamen Semiconductor Investment Group Co., Ltd. and the Netherlands Cooperation Consulting Co., Ltd. organized the “China-Dutch Semiconductor Industry Cooperation Forum”. Also present were more than 20 representatives of semiconductor companies in the Netherlands and several Chinese semiconductor enterprise investment agencies.
Semiconductor is a highly capital-intensive and highly technology-intensive industry and a globally competitive industry. China has the world’s largest semiconductor consumer market.
Yu Ji-kang, Vice President of the China Semiconductor Industry Association, and Barry Peet, President of Business Cluster Semiconductors Netherlands, reported on the development of the semiconductor industry in China and the Netherlands. Several well-known experts in the field of semiconductor technology elaborated on important fields such as intelligence and intellectual property.
The Dutch participants also discussed the basic situation of their respective companies and future business development and development opportunities in China. During the meeting, China Semiconductor Industry Association and Business Cluster Semiconductors Netherlands signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement, which laid a good foundation for the subsequent multi-faceted cooperation between the semiconductor industry in China and the Netherlands.
