Innovation mission to South Korea including SEDEX 2022

Are you looking for Korean business or innovation partners? Then this innovation mission is a great opportunity to explore and expand your business opportunities. The mission is interesting for R&D managers, CTOs, CEOs and business development managers of companies in the semiconductor industry (especially SME and start-up companies!), and knowledge institutes and governments active in the semiconductor industry. Part of this mission is the SEDEX fair in Seoul. SEDEX is the 2nd Korean semicon fair (after SEMICON Korea).

The mission is organised by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the Netherlands Embassy in Korea and High Tech NL/Holland Semiconductors.

Programme

South Korea is the world’s largest maker of memory cards. The country is investing heavily in new facilities and (EUV) technology to strengthen its leading position and to gain a larger segment of the system chip market. Pressure to stabilise the supply chain is growing. Korea is therefore looking for additional suppliers, as well as technology and partners to bring part of the supply chain within its own national borders. From the highest level in the Korean political and industrial top, the Netherlands is seen as an important partner.

SEDEX 2022

Part of the mission is the SEDEX fair (the 2nd semicon fair after Semicon Korea) in Seoul. The SEDEX is a good opportunity to get in touch with potential R&D and/or business partners. In the 2022 edition the organisation will once again set up a Dutch pavilion.

The mission program is still under development. The organisation tries to take the specific wishes of the participants into account as much as possible in determining the final programme.
