Business Opportunity Fair
The Business Opportunities Fair (BOF) presents an exceptional platform for participants to engage with sector specialists, regional managers, and project officers from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This event offers a unique chance to gain insights into the ADB’s strategy, approved projects, and budget allocations across various sub-sectors in different Asian countries through informative seminars and dynamic panel discussions.
One of the standout features of the Fair is the opportunity for one-on-one meetings with ADB project officers. These personalized interactions allow participants to discuss potential collaboration areas directly with key decision-makers, making these meetings incredibly valuable. Additionally, these engagements offer the perfect occasion to build and strengthen your professional network within the bank.
Date: 9-10 October
Location: ADB headquarters, Manila, Philippines
For more detailed information about the Fair, please visit the ADB website. Participation in the Fair and the mission is free of charge; however, attendees are responsible for their own accommodation and travel expenses.
The Philippines
Besides participating in the BOF, this mission also offers participants the opportunity to engage with local stakeholders in the Philippines and explore avenues to collaborate together. The embassy in Manila together with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce are more than willing to connect you and set-up meeting with relevant local stakeholders (local companies, municipalities, ministries etc.), of course depending on your specific interests.
The following six sectors have been identified by our embassy as especially interesting for the Netherlands:
– Agriculture and Horticulture (Agri-tech, Agri-logistics, and cooperatives)
– Water (Water Resource Management and Flood Control & Coastal Resilience)
– Energy (Renewables, Port Development, and Grid Technology)
– Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
– Semiconductor – Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)
– Transport and Infrastructure (Maritime and Port Development)
In case you are interested in the Philippines and opportunities the country has to offer, we strongly recommend staying from 6-11 October so that they can offer a tailor-made program for you in this week.
Registering for the Business Opportunity Fair can be done through the website of the ADB. The deadline to register for the BOF is set for: 6 September 2024, 11:59 P.M (Manila Time).
Please note that if you are interested in participating in the BOF, you will need to register via the website of the ADB (listed above). Registering for our webinar will not automatically ensure that you are registered for the BOF.
