VoltaChem Annual Event 2024
VoltaChem’s Annual Event 2024 ‘Scale 2 Impact’ will take place on Tuesday April 9th 9:30-18:00 at Brightlands Chemelot Campus in Geleen, The Netherlands.
At VoltaChem, they believe that full electrification of the chemical industry is possible by using renewable energy and feedstock instead of fossil fuels. It’s our mission to accelerate innovation in Power-2-X to reach the worldwide net-zero and circular targets by 2050. To achieve this, we aim to contribute to the establishment of a world leading electrolyzer supply chain in 2030 and to a first-of-a-kind world scale production facility producing plastics from waste gases and air by 2040.
This event is a closed event on a first-come-first-serve basis (max. 125 delegates), where we bring together members of the communities of VoltaChem and Brightsite, existing project partners from the full value chain, and closest relations that share our ambition.
Program Director Martijn de Graaff will kick off this event together with Arnold Stokking, Managing Director at Brightsite. During the morning, C-level colleagues from industry will share their insightful stories and will be ready to answer your questions in the field of Power-2-Integrate, Power-2-Hydrogen and Power-2-Chemicals.
Confirmed speakers are:
- Arnold Stokking, Managing Director at Brightsite
- Francisco Boshell, Head-Innovation and End-Use Applications at IRENA
- Achim Raschka, Head of Technology & Markets at Nova Institute
- René Slaghek, Technology Manager at Brightsite
- Markus Kunze, VP Engineering at Bosch Transmission Technology
- Elmer de Boer, Head of Renewable Energy Solutions at Eneco
- Márcio Rebouças, Global Process technology lead at Braskem
- Puttipong Suwan, Net zero innovation manager at PPT Global Chemicals
After the morning session, there will be plenty of time to connect with other participants during the lunch and to learn about our technological advancements of the last year. Following the lunch we have breakout sessions scheduled with a specific focus on our program lines. These sessions will dive into hot topics, like prioritizing circular carbon, developing economically viable electrochemical routes, dealing with PFAS issues in electrolysis, accelerating Power-2-X scaling-up and technology generation transition thinking.
For the enthusiasts we also offer the opportunity to visit the Chemelot industrial site or the Brightsite plasma-synthesis lab the following day (April 10th). More details about this will follow when registered.
Invites for this event will go out in week 4, in case you have not received an invitation but you do want to join, please send your request with motivation to info@voltachem.com
