RIMA Seminar: Driving Robotic Innovation in Inspection & Maintenance based on End User Needs and Business Drivers
RIMA is organizing a one-day seminar to explore the high potential applications of robotics, by providing an overview of the areas of potential impact from an asset operator/owner perspective.
RIMA is a European project to drive innovation in robotics for I&M by establishing a pan-European network of Digital Innovation Hubs. The objective of RIMA is to reinforce the leadership of Europe in I&M robotics by connecting technology to industrial/sectorial needs and foster efficient cross border cooperation in Europe. The RIMA consortium consists of 16 leading research organizations from different European countries and 7 organizations representing end users of different sectors. The RIMA Project is funded by the European Community.
This seminar is an excellent opportunity for all actors in the value chain to learn about critical success factors for implementing robotic solutions Inspection & Maintenance. Asset owners/operators can learn from their peers, Service companies may learn which new robotic services they may need to add, technology companies will learn which markets and applications they should focus on for their robotic solutions and investors will learn where the opportunities in the market are that are useful to invest in. Last, but not least research organizations will be able to learn where to focus their research to maximize future impact.
