2nd Pitch your robot event
On April 7, 2022, the second edition of PITCH YOUR ROBOT will take place. This event is part of the annual agROBOfood event "From vision to action.
In 2021, the first edition of "Pitch Your Robot, Find Your Investor" took place, connecting 25 start-ups with 50 investors. This year we hope for another such success.
agROBOfood aims to build an ecosystem that promotes the implementation and application of robotics in the agri-food sector. Through financial support, robotics innovations are promoted, allowing them to reach the market faster. Within the agROBOfood project, through three Open-Calls, approximately 70 SMEs have received a total of approximately 7.5 million Euro in support. Better access to funding for robotics initiatives is the way forward and therefore agROBOfood organized 3 Open Calls (from 2019 to 2021) to provide financial support (7.5M Euros) to about 70 SMEs.
It is possible to apply as a pitcher or as an investor. Please note that only pitchers who submit full documentation are eligible.

The challenges facing farmers now and in the future are enormous. There is a huge demand for more and better food, requiring them to produce it with fewer resources while reducing their environmental footprint. The agROBOfood project supports companies across Europe in applying robotics-driven innovation in agrifood and in their business processes to increase food productivity and make food production more sustainable.
